Middle School Arts Program
Creative Programs For Our Middle School Students
- Visual Arts: Perspective, color, proportion and form – the basic building blocks of drawing and painting – are taught through intriguing and creative projects. Our young artists explore many different ways to use pencil, pastel, clay and paint to express themselves. Personal exploration is encouraged both in and out of the art studio.
- Music: Children at Glenwood Academy love music! “Spotlight on Music” is a jam-packed music program by MacMillan/McGraw-Hill that promotes musical understanding in every student. MacMillan/McGraw-Hill’s partnership with Hal Leonard Corporation, the world’s largest music print publisher, combines the best of educational and music publishing.
- Drama: In partnership with Music Theatre International, “Spotlight on Music” brings “Broadway for Kids” to Glenwood Academy. These customized musicals are designed to make our music program instructive and FUN. “Spotlight on Music” makes our staged school performances a WOW!
